We’re investigating reports of a delay in updates to Square balances. This may impact your ability to initiate Instant Transfers, or use your Square Card.
We want to assure you that physical card payments have not been affected and have processed as normal, despite a delay in being reflected within transactions and your balance. We'll be back with an update as soon as possible.

Good news! A fix has been implemented and Square Card balances are beginning to update.
Sorry for the disruption today. We'll continue to monitor these services and post a final update once we've confirmed that everything is fully resolved.

We have confirmed that Card Ordering and Card Management with the Square Card is affected and unavailable as a result as well.

Our Engineers have identified the issues causing Square Card balances to be delayed due to an outage with our upstream banking partner.
Please note: the Square Card balance currently reflected in your app is the available spending balance. Any transaction over the reflected balance may result in a declined payment.
